On August 24, 2009 it would have been Jim and I's 18th wedding anniversary. Thank you to all of my family and friends that prayed for me and said encouraging words to me. I really appreicate it very much. It was my first wedding anniversary without Jim. It was very hard. I'm not looking forward to the next couple of months but I know that with Jesus and all of my family and friends I will make it through.

Sad day today we had to put my moms dog (Lady) to sleep today. Very hard to due since she was my dad's dog in the beginning and then when he passed away she became my moms companion. She was a precious dog, she will be missed.

I just got back from my son's house had a blast. I got to be in the pool with my grandaughters and we had so much fun. They also spend the night last night and we didn't go to bed until 1:30am but of course sleep didn't come right away. So after the pool playing today we were exhausted. We also celebrated Cody's 18th birthday. Thank you God for our FREEDOM. I'm very thankful that I have freedom. Thank you to all of the soldiers out there serving, and to those that already served. Well I better try and get some shut eye. Oh forgot to tell you that even my cell phone went swimming, YIKES. I'm very sad about that. :-(

I made a Memory Book for Cody from graduation. It turned out very pretty. I cried after I got it done, I have been blessed beyond measure. I have only posted a few pages if you are my friend on myspace they will be on there. I'm also going to try and post them on facebook. Thanks for letting me share with you guys.

Today I spent the day with my son and his family. We had a BBQ and then we had Hot Fudge Sundaes. They were YUMMY!!!! Patsy family was over and we all had a blast eating and sitting by the pool. Here are a few pictures of our fun day!!

Tough Day Today

Well I just wanted to drop a note. Every since Jim passed away I have made sure that I'm not home often, especially on the weekends because I don't want to be alone. But today I made myself do it. I DID IT but boy was it very hard. I don't like this part of my life I not used to it yet nor will I know when I will ever be used to it. I had to go to Walmart and boy was I trying to think of who I could go and bug this weekend. Couldn't think of anyone that wasn't already busy, or that I haven't bugged enough already. So just pray for me because I thought that it had been long enough that I would be ok, but boy did I find out that I was WRONG!!

I had a very blessed weekend. I was sad this being my 1st Easter without Jim, I went to Jim and Patsy for a little while, then I went and had dinner with Steven, Kandee, Sarana & Kaitlyn. I had a blast!! I haven't laughed that hard in a long time, thanks guys. Especially you Kandee and you know what I'm talking about :). On Easter Sunday I went to see my grandaughters perform, and then I went to lunch with Kandees family. Then I went to Jimmie and Patsy house for a BBQ, that was fun alot of Patsy's family was there, and little RJ was there, he is just too cute. Thank you to my family you guys made this a weekend very speical to me, I love you guys very much!!! Here are some pictures of my grandkids.

I just got back from Medieval Times, Knotts Berry Farm and the Beach tonight. Boy am I exhausted. I had a blast though I will post some pictures later though. I have to go night night because I have to go to work tomorrow.

On Saturday 3/28/09 I had a picnic with my sister in law Fran and my mother in law. It was a nice day out, although my mother in law told me to put her hat on because her ears were cold!!! I always have a great time when I spend time with my family.

This was our last Christmas to spend with my husband Jim the year was 2007. The special thing about this Christmas was Darrin (Jimmie and Patsy nephew) was there and he was able to take a picture of all of us together, I know none of us imagined this was our last Christmas together with Jim. I'm blessed beyond measure I still have my two sons, daughters and four precious grandchildren. They have helped so much through the passing of their dad, and I will be forever grateful to them. Thanks guys I love you very much and you are all special to me. My mom and family have also been there for me, the Lord has truly blessed me!!
